We maintain our office in Bergen County, New Jerseyminutes away from New York City. Our growing staff is experienced in quality customer service and mindful of ethical business practicesimportant qualities for a life insurance brokerage.
Steve Kobrin is "second generation" in the life insurance industry, having brought his family business into the 21st century.
He knows the nuances of field underwriting better than other professionals for whom life insurance is a side interestespecially when it comes to finding coverage for people who have been declined or rated on prior applications. As an independent broker, Steve relishes his freedom to represent dozens of carriers, with no sales quotas.
Prior to entering the life insurance business, Steve served as operations manager for a computer supplies distribution company, servicing the Fortune 100 community. Today, he consciously models his brokerage on the same "keep the customer satisfied" principle that is necessary for keeping the top corporations as clients.
Born in New York City, Steve moved with his family to the NJ suburbs when he was eleven. He adapted, but "you can't take the city out of the boy." A true Yankees fan, he enjoys playing third-base in a community softball league. When he's not on the ballfield (or practicing at the batting cage), you can find Steve reading Lord of the Rings or a good suspense novel.
In December 2003, Steve completed CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) training, under the auspices of the Fair Lawn and Paramus Offices of Emergency Management and New Jersey State Troopers. As of New Year's eve, Steve was on call, continuing his long-time commitment to community service projects.
